‘’Takovo Berry’’ is a cooperative which specializes in growing northern highbush American blueberries and brings together growers committed to growing their plants according to the principles of "regenerative-biological" agriculture, which gives their plants the ability to live a long life and the ability to produce nutrient-rich and healthy fruits.

We can say for ourselves that we are the pioneers of this approach to growing blueberries in Serbia.

We grow our plants in a specific mountainous site of Western Serbia

On the land of volcanic origin, rich in minerals and biodiversity, while the temperate continental climate and fresh summer nights give our fruit an exceptional taste, high nutritious value and quality.

Under the cooperative currently, we have 12 ha of blueberry plants. The predominant cultivation is on raised bads as well as the early-ripening variety Duke. We also have a small amount of the Draper variety. In terms of production diversification, in the future we plan to expand the plantations and offer the market some new and interesting varieties of late ripening.

We bring many years of knowledge and experience from our own plantations, as well as from renowned American and European blueberry farms and nurseries. ‘’Fall Creek Farm and Nursery’’ Oregon, ‘’Sunset Valley Organics’’-Oregon, ‘’Fall Creek Driesenplant’’ Holland.

The cooperative, as well as its subcontractors, have a European standard in the production of fresh fruits and vegetables ‘’Global Gap’’, and the biological protection of blueberry plants allows them to have fruit “free from pesticides residues”, which guarantees our consumers completely safe and healthy food.
